Huiungak Shelter

Heeungak Shelter is a mountain lodge at Muneomi Pass on Seoraksan. It sits at the junction of Cheonbuldong Valley and Gongnyong Ridge, where hikers refill water and take a short break. The newly renovated facilities are clean, and on weekend mornings around 9 a.m. hiking clubs gather and the place gets crowded. The toilets are not kept clean, so the smell and flies are unpleasant.
