Seoul Mugyodong Nakji is a small octopus restaurant in the Gongjak Apartment complex, a five-minute walk from Yeouinaru Station Exit 1. It serves nakji bokkeum and yeonpotang, cooking whole live octopus from Muan on a griddle with minari, perilla leaf, zucchini, onion, mushroom, and cabbage, and also offers nakji somyeon. At the roughly twenty-seat restaurant with an old-fashioned interior, diners can order bokkeum bap with flying fish roe after the griddled octopus. The gochutgaru gives it a sharp heat, so those sensitive to spice should ask for it less spicy.
