Owl Cafe Tokyo

Owl Cafe Akiba Fukurou is an animal cafe in an Akihabara alley where you can touch owls up close and take photos. You pick the bird you want, place it on your arm or shoulder, and touch its head lightly with one finger while taking pictures. Entry is by advance reservation, and after a safety briefing you spend about 30 to 40 minutes with the birds while staff give instructions in English. Owl droppings can get on your clothes or hair.
