San Xi Lou

San Xi Lou is a restaurant in Causeway Bay that serves mala huoguo and Sichuan dishes. For the huoguo, diners choose meats and vegetables separately, and fried rice and mapo tofu can also be ordered. English-speaking staff with basic conversational ability are on hand, and reservation status is checked at the entrance. The huoguo broth is spicier than at specialty shops in Korea, and the food is seasoned strongly.
