Motolino serves Italian wood-fired pizza and beer in Central, midway along the Mid-Levels Escalator. The Margherita is baked with a chewy dough, and the shrimp scampi can be ordered alongside it. Around 5 PM the place is not crowded, so you can pick a staff-recommended menu item and add beer. The edges of the pizza often come out blackened.
