Meijing Xiaochu is a traditional Cantonese dim sum shop in Hong Kong that opens before dawn. It serves char siu cheung fun, siu mai, sticky rice, duck feet rolls, cilantro dumplings and congee, with a pot of tea alongside for breakfast. The shop opens at 4 a.m., and by around 8 a.m. most of the dim sum is sold out. Customers take a tray and collect the food themselves, and there is indoor seating; outdoor seats allow smoking, so those sensitive to cigarette smoke should choose to sit inside.
