Menya Saimi

Menya Saimi is a ramen shop a short walk from Misono Station in Sapporo, serving Hokkaido-style miso ramen and shio ramen. The broth is closer to a clean miso soup than a fatty tonkotsu, and the bowls come with springy noodles and stir-fried bean sprouts. The shop lists an 11am opening but in practice opens around 10:30, and payment is cash only. The wait line runs from 30 minutes to over an hour.
