Tsudaro

Tsudaro is a traditional restaurant in Gionmachi Minamigawa, Higashiyama Ward, Kyoto, serving Kyoto kaiseki. The courses use seasonal hotaru ika, bamboo shoots, and taro, and come with simmered octopus and pickled lotus leaves. A Japanese garden sits in the center of the building, and a large single-plank hinoki counter is inside. Dinner kaiseki requires a reservation.
