Mochico is a small cafe in a lane just off the main shopping street in Gion, Kyoto, serving mochi desserts and matcha drinks. The matcha mochi creme brulee parfait layers matcha ice cream wrapped in mochi with brulee, red bean, and nuts. You choose and pay for your order on the first floor, then wait on the second floor, where staff bring the food to you. The second-floor seating is limited, so seats fill up quickly.
