Kyoto Tsuburano

Tsuburano Kyoto Honten serves Kyoto-style home cooking near the Yasaka Pagoda in Higashiyama Ward. Its signature Kyoto no E-zara Bento places Kyoto vegetables and seasonal ingredients in several small dishes, with seasonal fried items available as an addition. From the second-floor window seats, Kiyomizu-dera's five-story pagoda and Sannenzaka are visible, and reservations are required during cherry blossom and autumn leaf seasons. Prices are on the high side relative to the amount of food.
