Kyoka Kiyomizu

Kyoka Kiyomizu is an izakaya in Gion, Kyoto, near Kiyomizu-dera, serving obanzai and oden. The oden includes daikon, chikuwa, ganmodoki, aburaage, egg, and red konnyaku, and the obanzai can be ordered as a set of five kinds. The first floor has a horikotatsu-style counter, the second floor has table seating, and there is also a private room. Portions are small and prices are on the higher side.
