Kiyoshi Yosei is a small Japanese restaurant near Kiyomizu-dera in Kyoto that serves udon, soba, and rice bowls. Its representative dishes are tempura udon and curry udon, with a broth that is mild yet deep and curry udon that contains thick pieces of meat. On Sundays around 11 a.m. to noon, people have entered without waiting, though a line formed afterward. The restaurant does not accept card payments and takes cash only.
