Jikiba Ōno

Jikiba Ono is a counter-style Japanese restaurant in Miyagawacho, Kyoto, serving hoe and sushi alongside other Japanese dishes. A meal opens with three courses and soup brought out in sequence, after which diners order items such as Omi beef, fugu, and eel a la carte. Guests sit at the counter and watch the cooking, and the chef explains the menu in English. There are only six or seven seats, so a reservation by phone is required.
