Higashi Sushi Gion is a three-story sushi restaurant in Gion, reached by elevator. The elevator door opens directly into the restaurant, and shoes are removed at the entrance. Sushi is served with long, thin rolls of seaweed. Foreign-language menus are available, and orders from foreign customers come out later than those from local diners.
