Gion Sobar is a Japanese restaurant in the basement of a building in Kyoto, serving soba, mackerel set meals, and tendon. The curry is made thick with several fruits and no water, and the plum wine is brewed in-house. Being on the first basement floor makes it hard to find, but ICOCA cards are accepted for payment and the interior is arranged like a bar. There is black mold in the water bottle.
