Gion Shizuka

Gion Shizuka is a Japanese restaurant in Kyoto near Tatsumi Bridge in Gion Shirakawa. It serves a Kyoto kaiseki course built on seasonal ingredients, paired with rare Japanese sake from across the country. The first floor has nine counter seats where the cooking takes place in view, and the lunch short course runs about 90 minutes. The dinner pairing course starts at 18:00 for everyone at once, so arriving on time is required.
