Gion Danran

Gion Danran is a small restaurant in Kyoto that serves teppanyaki. It focuses on grilled beef, okonomiyaki, and yakisoba, and also grills shrimp, scallops, and vegetables on the teppan. The teppan is wiped down as soon as guests finish their meal and kept like new, and the restroom is clean. The interior is cramped and the wait can run up to an hour.
