BRISK STAND KYOTO serves hamburgers made with 100% domestic beef patties and whole-wheat buns with no additives, and it is within a 10-minute walk of Hankyu Kyoto Kawaramachi Station. The signature "cut burger" is sliced in half, its cut side seared again on a griddle, and served with sweet sauteed onions. The shop has counter seats, table seats, and tatami-style seating, and on Saturdays there are records of being seated without waiting at opening time and at noon. The burgers are on the small side compared with expectations, leaving something to be desired in terms of portion size.
