Aji Fukushima is a kaiseki restaurant in Kyoto, entered from Gion Hanamikoji down the Minamimonji alley. It serves a lunch omakase course built on seasonal ingredients alongside sake, with items such as hamo, winter melon and fig changing by season. The space is a sukiya-style building converted from the former Ochaya Fukushima machiya, with eight counter seats and a room where the cooking can be watched up close. It operates around courses such as the lunch omakase rather than single dishes.
