Kappa Restaurant

Kappa Restaurant is an izakaya in the Gion district of Kyoto that serves skewers and drinking snacks. The food centers on skewers, rolled omelette, karaage, and sashimi, with sake alongside, prepared in an open kitchen. Seating is for about 20 people, and in the evening one or two parties wait, so reserving ahead is better. Prices are on the high side for the amount of food served.
