In the Soup is a bar on the ninth floor of the Kamogawa building on the east side of the Kamo River, near Gion-Shijo Station in Kyoto. It serves wine, beer, and burgers, including a cheeseburger and an avocado and mushroom burger alongside craft beer, plus a dish called Imin no Hanbaku that is topped with rosemary and set on fire. Arriving when it opens at 6 PM gives a view of the Kyoto skyline and the river, and the rooftop can only be accessed after ordering a drink first. Burgers sell out and cannot be ordered after 9 PM.
