Beer Komachi

Beer Komachi is a small brewery bar near Higashiyama Station in Kyoto that serves craft beer from Kyoto and across Japan, along with Japanese sake and snacks. Seven to eight taps pour beers such as IPA, pilsner, and weizen, and oden is ordered by choosing ingredients like daikon, konnyaku, and egg. The beer and menu change daily, and a chalkboard above the kitchen lists the day's teppan grill items and specials. Ordering is possible in English and Japanese, and there is no guarantee a beer you want will still be available on your next visit.
