Myeongwol Seongji is a fortress site in Dongmyeong-ri, Hallim-eup, Jeju, on the road from Hallim Port to Jeoji-ri. It was built in the 1530s during the mid-Joseon period to block Japanese raiders near Biyangdo, first as a wooden fortress and later rebuilt in stone, so it now appears as a large stone wall. Visitors can walk up onto the ramparts facing the sea breeze. Only the ramparts remain on site, with no detailed information or other attractions.
