Kawabata

Kawabata is a motsunabe restaurant in Fukuoka that serves a soy sauce-based hot pot to local diners on company outings. The pot holds daechang (beef large intestine), cabbage, burdock, tofu, and chives, and noodles or rice porridge are added afterward. On a Monday around noon, the wait was about 10 minutes, and one visitor ordered motsunabe alone. Smoking is allowed indoors, so people sensitive to cigarette smoke should avoid it.
