Fukuoka Airport is an international airport connected directly to central Fukuoka by subway. It has duty-free shops, several restaurants, and a Uniqlo store, so travellers can shop and eat before departure. Signage in the arrivals hall is relatively clear and immigration processing runs smoothly, and the interior is clean. The airport is small, so the inside gets crowded.
