Genkaitei Honten is a live-seafood izakaya a three-minute walk from Hakata Station in Fukuoka. The course includes squid hoe and kawahagi hoe brought in directly by the shop's own live-fish truck, along with mentaiko fries. A boat-shaped aquarium sits inside the basement space, and an all-you-can-drink course with no time limit is also available. Portions are small and drinks arrive slowly.
