Jeolsinwon is a Zen temple attached to the southeast side of Shofukuji in the old town of Hakata Ward, Fukuoka. It holds a raked stone garden, a Jizo statue honoring the spirit of Empress Myeongseong, and the grave of Kato Shisho of the Fukuoka domain. As a tatchu of Shofukuji, it is a small temple supporting the head temple, and its interior is marked by quiet and restraint rather than ornament. The visit centers on the graves and memorial statues of historical figures.
