勅使門

Chikshamon Gate stands at Seongboksa in Fukuoka, a three-minute walk from Gion Station. Large sixteen-petal chrysanthemum crests sit on both sides of the gate, and a Hakata wall set with broken roof tiles runs behind it. Wind and birdsong carry through the large trees, and the temple grounds are open during the day. The gate itself stays closed, so it cannot be examined up close.
