Seikyo-ji is a Jodo Shinshu Buddhist temple in Hakata, Fukuoka, located right next to Saifukubashi along the Mikasa River. The priest Shōgen Hōshi founded it in 1544 in Nakasu Romachi and moved it to its current site in 1603. The current main hall was built between 1764 and 1772, and the bell tower and Sushusha feature carvings, with a narrow old-style path leading to the gate. The interior of the main hall cannot be entered.
