Hakata Traditional Craft and Design Museum is a small craft museum next to Kushida Shrine that presents traditional crafts such as Hakata dolls, textiles, and scissors. The second floor displays Hakata dolls from different periods and wedding dresses made from Hakata cloth, while the first floor has a cafe and a souvenir shop. Touchscreens on the second floor let visitors read about the history and meaning of the crafts. Admission is free, and the exhibition space is small, so it is not a place to stay long.
