Hohobag

Hohobak is a bakery in Hadan, Saha-gu, Busan that sells pumpkin, mugwort, and black sesame rice cakes. Its signature pumpkin injeolmi coats chewy rice cake in soft rice castella powder, giving it a nutty flavor that is not sweet. Ingredients are selected each day at a produce market at dawn and made by hand the same day, and small takeout orders are available. Rice cakes sell out by late afternoon, so reserve in advance.
