Roppon̄gi is a modern izakaya in Hwangnidan-gil, Gyeongju, serving charcoal-grilled skewers such as chicken pork collar, chicken thigh, and enoki mushrooms wrapped in pork belly, along with Sanuki udon. The restaurant opens at 6 p.m., and its tables fill within 10 minutes of opening. Smoke builds up inside because the ventilation is inadequate while the skewers are grilled.
