Chunghyo Maeuntang

Chunghyo Maeuntang is a restaurant in Gyeongju that serves spicy freshwater maeuntang. The maeuntang is spicy with a rich broth, and scorched-rice water is served after the meal. Rice comes out hot and freshly cooked, and pouring water into the pot turns it into nurungji-tang at the end of the meal. Service tends to be brusque.
