Ungok Seowon

Ungok Seowon is a small seowon in Gyeongju where the atmosphere of old scholar-gentry life remains. A large ginkgo tree hundreds of years old stands together with walls and tile-roofed buildings, and Yuyeonjeong, Gyeonsimmun, and Gyeongdeoksa can also be seen. In autumn the parking lot is nearly full as visitors arrive, though a large parking lot is available. Because the site is small, there is not much to see.
