Namsan is a mountain peak south of Gyeongju that holds Silla-era Buddhist relics and statues. It has two peaks, Geumo-bong at 468m and Gowi-bong at 494m, and walking routes follow temple sites and stone pagodas. From Samneung Exploration Center, the route climbs about 2km uphill to Sangseonam before continuing along the ridge, and the round trip is 5.7km and takes about two hours. There are no restrooms up to the summit.
