Sacheonwangsa-ji is a Silla temple site on the slopes of Nangsan in Gyeongju. It was established during the reign of King Munmu to repel a Tang invasion, and the story of the Munduru ritual by the monk Myeongnang is recorded in the Samguk Yusa. Restoration work was completed recently, and a reproduction of a green-glazed guardian deity statue can be seen. The pagoda and buildings are gone, leaving only foundation stones and traces, so the site is largely empty.
