Gyeongju Najang is a historic site tied to the birth legend of Park Hyeokgeose, the founding ancestor of Silla, and it sits not far from Oreung. The site marks the origin of the Park surname and the starting point of Silla history. A stone monument said to have been erected in the Joseon period, a restored building site, and stone materials uncovered during excavation remain there. Maintenance work on the surrounding area has left it in a state that is inconvenient to view.
