A three-story stone pagoda from the Unified Silla period stands in the fields south of Hwangnyongsa in Gyeongju. Only the pagoda remains of Mitansa, a city temple built within the royal capital. Roof tiles inscribed with the characters "Mitan" were found during excavation, confirming the site as the Mitansa of Samguk Yusa. The railway was closed on December 28, 2021, so the pagoda can no longer be seen from a train.
