Gyeongju Hyanggyo is a hyanggyo that began as the state academy of the Silla period, located on the road from Cheomseongdae to Gyo-dong and connected to Gyerim. The Daeseongjeon, which holds the tablets of Confucius and the former sages, and the Myeongnyundang remain, and traditional weddings are held on Sundays. The buildings inside are few and the site is not large, taking about 10 minutes to look around. Nemulwangneung behind the hyanggyo can be visited as well.
