Gyeongbuk Millennium Forest Garden sits on the southeastern slope of Namsan in Gyeongju, near Tongiljeon. The garden is laid out around the motif of Gyeongju's five mountains and three waterways, with a single-log bridge and a metasequoia path running through it. There is no admission fee and no parking fee, and the parking lot and restrooms are kept clean. Many of the trees are young, so shade is limited in midsummer.
