Bunhwangsa is a Silla-era Buddhist temple in Gyeongju, next to the Hwangnyongsa temple site. Its main sight is the Bunhwangsa Majeon Seoktap, a stone pagoda of unusual form dating to the Unified Silla period. The temple was founded in 634 and completed during the reign of Queen Seondeok of Silla. The grounds are small, so there is little to see for an extended stay.
