Baengnyulsa is a Buddhist temple on the slope of Geumgangsan in Gyeongju. It was built at the spot where Ichadon's head fell when he was martyred, and it is connected to the official recognition of Buddhism in Silla. Parking in the lot below, it takes about five minutes on foot to reach Daeungjeon, and at the entrance you can see the four-sided Buddha of Gulbulsaji. The Buddha statue that was originally in the main hall is now housed at the Gyeongju National Museum.
