Bongpyeong Ongsimi Memil Kalguksu

Bongpyeong Ongsimi Memil Kalguksu is a restaurant next to Junggok Market in Seoul that serves ongsimi made from potato and memil kalguksu. The ongsimi, made by grinding potatoes, is chewy like sujebi, and the memil noodles are served in a broth with perilla seed aroma. At lunch the restaurant is busy enough that people wait in line, and barley rice with mu saengchae, baechu kimchi, and yeolmu kimchi comes out first. The portions are on the small side.
