Baeg-Ildo

Baekildo is a raw-fish restaurant in Junggok Jeil Market near Junggok Station in Seoul that serves large yellowtail and seasonal live-fish hoe. In winter the large yellowtail is cut thick and eaten with aged kimchi, white kimchi, seaweed, sushi rice and flying-fish roe. Calling ahead for a wait or takeout means less time standing around on site. The dining room has few tables, so a wait runs over an hour.
