Haejin Anago Gui

Haejin Anago Gui is a sea eel restaurant near Suyeong Intersection in Busan that serves eel sashimi, grilled eel, and maeuntang. Ordering the wangbari brings a whole eel chosen to match the number of diners, split into sashimi and grilled portions, with staff cutting the grilled eel into easy pieces. Each time a customer arrives, an eel is selected at the entrance and cleaned on the spot, and the maeuntang is eaten by mashing the eel flesh into the broth. Reservations are difficult and the food is expensive.
