Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu Guro Branch

Deungchon Shabu Kalguksu Guro Branch is a restaurant in Guro District, Seoul, serving shabu-shabu and kalguksu together. The course starts with beef shabu-shabu in a spicy broth, then moves on to minari, mushrooms, kalguksu, and bokkeumbap. It moved from in front of the main gate of Guro Korea University Hospital to its current spot and has operated there long enough to build regulars. The seating hall is sit-on-the-floor, shoes off, and the owner cooks the final bokkeumbap at the table; the number of vegetable varieties is small.
