Eungbong

Eungbong is a 122-meter peak in the Hwajinpo area of Goseong, behind the fortress site and near Geumgang Samsa. From the summit, Hwajinpo Beach, Hwajinpo Lake, the East Sea, and Geumgangsan are visible at once. A staircase behind Geumgang Samsa leads to the top in 20 to 30 minutes at a slow pace, and a free parking lot is available at the temple entrance. The route up has many stairs and is steep.
