West Gate Iron Plate is a Hiroshima-style okonomiyaki restaurant in Ginza that cooks on an iron plate. Its signature okonomiyaki is made with soba noodles fried until crisp and laid underneath, and omusoba and garlic rice can be ordered as well. Seating works through signing up on a reservation site and booking in advance, while walk-ins may wait 10 to 15 minutes or be told to return an hour later. The entrance is in the basement and is hard to find.
