Sushi Daizen is a nine-seat counter sushi shop under the tracks about five minutes on foot from Yurakucho Station, serving courses built around blue-backed fish, especially mackerel. The course moves from a sashimi comparison of three kinds of mackerel to grilled fish, soup, and nigiri sushi. Reservations are taken through the Twitter account @sushi_daizen, and because there is no drink menu, guests bring their own alcohol while ice, a cooler, and water are provided. Seats are booked months in advance, so getting a place is difficult.
