Mikawaya is a traditional Western-style restaurant on the first floor of Ginza Mitsukoshi, a two-minute walk from Ginza Station. It serves Western dishes such as crab croquettes, beef stew, and fried shrimp as courses or à la carte, using demiglace sauce. On weekends it tends to get crowded, so reservations are recommended, and guests go up a red-carpeted spiral staircase to the second-floor seating. Prices are on the high side.
